Could be worse....I've been dealing with sudden/no link issues for close to 3 months...Not a hard fail...every once in a while it would slow way down or loose the connection...I call testicle support..close to 30 times total..AND 2 service calls..they run their checks, reset connection and it's all good...service tech didn't find anything because it wasn't broke when they were here...Couple 3 weekends ago i find a used modem at garage sale $5...i buy it hoping it works and i can give back the rental and save $5 a month...Seemed to work ok...i give back rental and haven't had a prob. since...in fact internet speed went from 9-10 mbs to 11+

I hate when that happens.
Recently they told me to change out my cable modem; I told them I had done it six months ago. I too was having intermittent issues and it wasn't too noticeable, but I wanted to get it fixed.
So I changed out to a new docsys 3.0 modem and holly fawk, download speed went from 25MB down, to 50MB, and fixed the connectivity issues. I guess modems are like starters, lol.
Of course, when I hooked up my "G" router, it knocked it back down to 25MB. So soon I will be replacing the G router for the newer N to take advantage of the docsys 3.0 modem speeds.

Open up IE, go to File/Import and Export.
Export your bookmarks to your desktop or another file locations (mydocuments, program files etc)
In Firefox, go to Bookmarks and click on the Bookmarks tab.
Click "show all Bookmarks"
Go to Import and Backup and Import them from the IE file location.
