Both are great boats, but if it was me, I would rather have the Vector due to interior room.

Good point. Do you know which one has a better ride in rougher water? I am leaning towards the Vector, but I just want to be sure.

From what I have heard and read about, the Vector is better riding boat in rough water, similar to a Schiada.

I've only seen a few Vecters around the mid-west, the ones I saw were v-drives and only had 2 stringers, all the Schiada and Spectra V-Drives have 4 stringers and look a lot heavier duty than a Vecter. I have never seen a Cole V-Bottom but imho the tr1's and 2's are totally premo.

I have a Cole SS 20 V-Drive great boat, bottom is delta
pad great for speed but I think the Vecter would be better in
the real heavy stuff. Also the Cole is small inside, one of the
reasons I like it just two of us onboard.Coles quality and layup
are very good my boat is a 89 W/BBC/turbo 400 runs mid 80s.

Absolutely love my 88' Vector. 454 Bravo 1. Lots of room for a closed bow, big storage area under the bow, 60+ gallons of fuel allows me most of a week cruising and skiing without paying for gas at the marina. Handled havasu's rough stuff without a problem. Taking it to Powell in July.

If the Cole can manage to just get thru it, then the Vector can crush it.
