Lake George Performance Weekend Photos
Picture Perfect weather here this weekend in Lake George, NY .

This is the 3rd year covering this event and you just can't beat Lake George for the perfect backdrop for pictures.
I will be back out there today to shoot a little more.

Spent many of summers there as a kid. It don't get any better than lake George......wish I were closer now.

It's a shame they have so many restrictions that keep performance boaters from coming there. Basically forced majority of them right out. Noise, speed limits etc...Originally Posted by fat rat

The permit was to end the event at 4 PM. It was shut down right at 4 PM with just one more 6 lap Demo to go ...
Sharkey when homes like this are fetching close to a mil, I'm pretty sure they are in for the scenery.

Now I see why LG was so full, the NY Viper club
goes up there this weekend each year. Sat. for
dinner we went to the Log Jam for dinner place was
a mob seen. Wish I had known about the boat event.

I wish I knew about the VIPERS ... I was looking for a few cool cars to shoot... Got some bikes though !

I was suprised by the number of bikes in LG
it's not a friendly place for bikes or any thing
that is hyproformance boats, cars snowmobiles
all they are looking for is $$$$$. For boating
we go about 30 miles north to Schroon Lake
lots better. Week after next I will be in LG
for Americade.

I guess they can deal with the noise of all the BIKES for a week to rake in the $$$ . I would like to go back 1 year to check out Americade. It sounds awesome.
Americade is about the best display of garbage barges
and tied on stuffed toys in the east. It's also great
to watch stupid people tricks,I go up for buisness,on
the weekend Rhinebeck has a vintage event that is
a lot better for photos. You might try that you will
enjoy it a lot more.
