Default Patch repair kit from AO Coolers?

Has anyone tried the patch repair kit yet? I've already sent one cooler back and it got another pin size hole in it months after. Now, my other cooler has the same defect. Not real impressed with the longevity of these coolers! And I'm REAL careful with what and how things are put inside. Or if anyone else has another repair idea, I'm all ears.......thanks

I patched my AO cooler with a Park Tool Super Patch you can buy at your local bicycle shop. Works awesome. Been in place several years (at least 4 or 5 years) without a hitch. Don't let a leak ruin your weekend. Here's a link: Park Tool Co. » GP-2 : Super Patch Kit : Tube & Tire
Since I quit throwing empty beer cans in the cooler, I haven't had problems with leaks

    AO coolers rock.

Not free. I emailed them about mine a couple months back and they quoted me $12 for the liner and that it would take about 4 to 5 weeks to be sent out to their factory and returned.

All 3 of mine leak. I need to send them back. Can they just be dropped off at their Corona location?

You can drop it off in Corona but they still ship it out to the factory and they told me 4-5 weeks turn around.

Are these coolers really top notch and worth the trouble?

Top notch? Absolutely. Worth the trouble? What trouble? I've got 4 of them and use the hell out of them. Not a single leak in about 5 yrs and I've never seen a cooler that keeps ice and can be thrown around and stored as easy. Best cooler ever.

I like the coolers but if they leak, I feel with the exception of any shipping charges, they should fix them free of charge. And the 4-5 week turn around time is a bit excessive imo.
