Is this your build? Don't kid yourself. Taking a hull made for 9.9 hp isn't worth a crap, no matter how much hp or dreaming you throw at it. That hull isn't designed for any type of jet ski pump or engine. The first turn you take will barrel roll that POS and hurt someone. Yes, this is a performance boating site with a jet section, that doesn't mean that someone should embrace this junk.

There is a key word in there which best describes this boat. I'll help you...it's HACKED. I didn't list it as such, the OP did.
We don't know if this is his boat, or a friends, or just a find somewhere, but I'm not going to sugar coat my thoughts and nut swing from the sack of this project just because it's a jet. It's an awful idea, and quite frankly I think it's an unsafe choice.
So, you can continue to blow smoke up the azz of this project and pretend it's cool, if that makes you feel better so feelings don't get hurt, but I won't.
