Default What kind of boat wax to use?

I was out at the river this weekend and this guy had a 1979 boat. The gel coat on this thing looked amazing! he said that he uses a special wax from a place called "power idustries" in Anahiem. anyone herd of it? His boat had no oxidation and looked brand new. I asked and he said its all original over 700 hours on boat (new engine after 500). Everyone near by was asking what he used? so what wax's have you tried and liked thats safe for fiberglass?

I've always had great results using show stoppers polish and wax. I'm pretty sure that you can only get it from their store in Santee

You can't go wrong with any Meguiars products for boats or cars and trucks,IMO. For the boat, if there is no oxidation to clean up, I use their Flagship premium marine wax. Goes on easy, use sparingly, and it comes off super easy.

I use this. It leaves a great coat, however it can be difficult coming off, if the boat is not in the shade.

I just used Boat candy's line of polish and wax. It removed my slight oxidation and worked pretty good.

I prefer 3M marine Wax 1-2 times/year and Boat Bling Hot Sauce at the end of each trip.

I have used Driven wax products, water spot remover, vinyl cleaner protective, etc...since like 1992. Great products and delivered to your door with great customer service.

I have been using Lucas spray on wax. It is one of the best spray on waxes I have used. It is a blue bottle.

Im interested to hear the answer to this. I use the meguiars gold class carnauba plus. Hope this isn't true.

I've had excellent results with Collinite 845. Sometimes you can even find it at Harbor freight.
