    Yes,, that is correct.
It's $58 a year for unlimited towing in fresh water. No good Samaritan should have to waste any part of their day towing a broken down boat. Anyone who can afford a boat can buy this insurance.
I've used mine a couple of times. They are very professional, polite and quick to respond.

These guys are fantastic for sure. Ran out of gas coming back from the Springs to Windsor. Pitch black out with no moon and I was a two hundred yards from the ramp. Couldn't paddle in due to the current. Tried to tarzan swim the boat in with a rope but after 30 minutes of free style swimming, back stroke, side stroke, breast stroke and dog paddling, I was only bale to move the boat about 6". Tried signalling a few other boats that went by me but no luck. Called vessel assist and they were there in 30 minutes gave me a few gallons of gas at no charge. Great insurance to have on the water.

Haven't had to use them yet but I'll never go on the water without my membership card.

Also check out their app. You can see ur exact location, call them and then text or email that location to vessel assist or your buddies. It's awesome.
I also opted for the towing insurance.

I paid $24 for the membership, $34 for the unlimited towing, then $14 for the trailer assist. Well I think that is how it went. I have never had to use it, and hopefully I never will!

I don't know about this plan, mine was just like Jersey Mike's.

They definitely work hard. We were coming from Havasu to Needles Marina and see a boat with their engine hatch up. Pull over to see if they need help and they tell us their motor died. We toss them a rope and tow them to Jack Smith park. Find out they have vessel assist, but it was going take about 2 to 3 hours due to being on another call. Nice to see some boaters are smart enough to set the anchor.
