Two parades so far from La Verne to Huntimgton Beach. Just fired up the grill down here and will be back in La Verne for fireworks.

Happy 4th everyone. Its Independence Day. Lets hope our choices in government will enable us to keep it independent and further the values set forth by our founding fathers, thus avoiding the need for a new revolutionary war to refresh those values.

A day for celebration certainly, but not one to forget its real meaning or the pain and anguish put forth by those that made it all come to pass back in the late 1700's.

I think the point was to call it Independence Day, not 4th of July...well one of the points.

Every post I have made in reference to today was Happy Independence Day. Where's my medal?
