Help...How do I post pics ( iPad)

I'm having some difficulty posting photos and changing my avatar my iPad , anyone ofer some help would be greatly appreciated.

Generally speaking, there are two ways to post pics:

1. the attachment method
2. using a pic that resides on a photo server like "Photobucket"

I just tried posting a pic from the iPad using the above two methods and I can't get it to work either.

I think you would need to use a pc/laptop

perhaps there are iPad experts here?
