anybody traveling from west to east?

my buddy wants to buy a boat on here but it is in tucson AZ, and we live near New Orleans, LA, we are just trying to get it closer (at least to austin area). if so he is willing to compensate you for your help, if you are headed this way anyways you could get your expenses paid for.
