    Default Chevy 4wd owners.

Take note. I leaned the hard way. I have a hole in my transfer case.

yup! this has been a known issue with these t-cases for years.

Its a pretty easy fix. I've been meaning to get around to doing mine, but its hard to break down and tear the t-case apart with only 50k on the truck. Maybe i'll do it when I pull the trans for a Suncoast stage V =)

Had the issue on my 98 Tahoe just starting to make noise, took it to Robinson Automotive and he fixed it no problem.. Be careful I have seen a few go through the housing if not taken care of right away.
