I will trade a 29 p5x. We can swap for a couple of hours to see if that works for you. Or I have 28 maximus to trade.

Your 28 Maximus, is it stock or labbed. Has the difuser been trimed? What is the diameter? Do you know if the Hydros pitches run bigger or smaller than the Bravos. If your Hydro 29 is more like a 28 Bravo pitch I may be instrested on swaping. Or may swap for your Maximus depending on the information you provide me. I am currently running a modified 28p Maximus but could always use a back up. Let know what you got.

    Conquest Deck,

I thought all Hydros P5X props were 15" diameters. Was yours made differently for you? How much of the diffuser did you trim and who did the work? Why did you trim the diffuser and how did it hurt or help your boat? So is your P5X labbed or stock with the diffuser being trimmed? I know on the Maximus it helps alot to trim the diffuser for it has such a large flare on the end but I believe the P5X's don't have that large flare on the end.

Let me know it could work out. At 15.0" in diameter

Sorry it took so long to respond. All work was done by Hydromotive. I believe the original diameter was 15 5/8 and the diffuser ring was trimmed 1/2 inch. I have a 28 foot cat hull deck boat with approx. 800 Hp would pull up to a little over ninety mph. The best part was the mid range cruise and acceleration. The ring and diameter were reduced for planing purposes. If you have any questions please feel free to call me (909) 519-5080.
