Thumbs up Thanks to Havasu Regional Hospital.

People are always quick to criticize Hospitals for shoddy care or other unacceptable conditions.

I'd like to take a minute and commend the staff at Havasu Regional Medical Center for the outstanding care they gave my wife over the weekend. Especially the crew in ICU.

She went in Friday morning for a "routine" surgery. Everything went fine and she was recovering nicely. However later Friday afternoon there were some complications and she had to be rushed back into the OR to rectify some issues. The issues were in no way the fault of anything the Doctor or staff did or didn't do, but was an unforeseen catastrophic event.

Due to the quick actions of the ICU staff in identifying the problem, getting the Doctor back (within minutes) and mitigating the initial complications they saved her life.

She is now home and doing wonderfully. The care, skill, understanding and compassion of all involved is greatly appreciated and reflects their professionalism and dedication to their duties.

    Job well done to all.

Glad to hear you have a good ending. We wish her a speedy recovery.

My wife is an NP and is going back to work next month after being off for 5 years to start raising our daughter. Care givers are truly special people.

Glad everything is okay. I'm also glad you received such great service. I think most people in the industry are wonderful and truly want to help. Unfortunately, so many times they are overworked and exhausted.

Thats nice to hear. I can tell you about two disaster jobs I personally had in ER. Never going back, take me to Vegas or Pheonix (as most EMT's in this town will agree with)

Wow,that is some scarey stuff. I am glad the outcome was good. I have often wondered how the care was in Havasu. I wish your wife a speedy recovery!
