Question Question for you detail guys. Wrinkle black finish

Anyone have a trick for maintaining the semi gloss wrinkle black finish that comes on some aftermarket parts.

I have a metal Pace Edwards tonneau cover with a the semi-gloss black wrinkle finish. I figure wax isn't coming out of the wrinkle finish even though it semi gloss. It's just now starting to show some sun fad.

On fiberglass gel coat you wouldn't believe how well Pledge furniture polish works.

Go to the Harley dealer and pick up some Pig Snot. It is made for the wrinkle black finish of HD engines. Its a little shiney for me, but you may want to try a little in a inconspicuous spot and see what you think.

    Good luck
