Yes, he's my f-i-l. He's a great guy. I'm very proud to know him. Awesome painter. Met a lot of other legends through him. The average person doesn't really understand what it takes to put a car together that looks like one from is shop. He is probably the most understated car painter around. Everybody knows who Boyd, Jimmy Shine (great kid) and Chip Foose (also as genuine as he appears) is. He doesn't get a lot of press but his cars still win.
Now, the M-I-L is another story. But I guess she's just a typical M-I-L. It's their job to make you miserable.

Looks good..I wish I could see it up close, but if it looks as good as some of your stuff in Rodders Journal I can easily imagine what it looks like.

Junior is a hell of a guy.. I remember when I went to their house as a kid for the first time still

She already know it Shawn. She was here for a week a couple of weeks ago for Mikes graduation and drove everyone crazy. Jill let her know it too.
We leave Saturday for Hawaii and so I have to spend another week with her. I was hoping the trip would fall through and instead head down your way for a week. I think I'm just going to sit on the patio with a case of beer and drink while looking out at the ocean.

As far as Jr., hell of a guy. Anyone that stops in feels very welcome, even if it's your first time meeting him. You guys can always stop in to say hello. He'll remember you.

Don't know about next month. We've got Tiffany's wedding. You parents are out of town then as well.
I hoping for August or September. I still have one more week of vacation to burn before November. Jill will have used up most of hers so she'd probably only be able to come down for a long weekend.
Mike's already wanting me to bring him down with the boat next year for spring break on a guys trip so be prepared for that. He can drive so you and I can sit in the back and get shit faced and check out the sites.
