Does anyone know how to get internet on your laptop from a blackberry? I've heard it can be done, just not great at computer stuff to figure it out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Your Blackberry should have come with a usb cable. Use it to connect it to your computer.
Go to the Blackberry website:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support...load_sites.jsp
Go to North America at the bottom and download the software for your service provider.
Pretty easy from there. Just follow the instructions.
I can get internet on my iPod touch anytime I'm in a wifi zone.... but it is too small to see.![]()

I've got a Blackberry Pearl. It's d*&n near impossible to read any documents! Besides, the keypad is tough for an old man to speed text on!
Looks like there will be some great options coming next month with the newest I Phone and the Instinct (Sprint/Samsung). The prices look to be dropping substantially and the content awesomely upgraded! Just left a Sprint website and my jaw dropped at the newest capabilties (ie: instant video camera, GPS nav, live Tv, etc...).

You guys misunderstood the question....he wants to use his blackberry phone as an aircard. Yes, it can be done. How you do it depends on your service. I have verizon on my Pearl. I hook up my phone to my laptop via usb. Then, I click on the Verizon software to dial out. You will want to read the small print on your service plan on your phone service to make sure you don't rack up a bunch of expensive charges. I have unlimited everything, so it works good for me. And, it is pretty damn fast! You should check your time-out settings as the default is usually 30 seconds or 60 seconds and the phone will disconnect making you think you have a problem when the phone keeps terminating the connection...when you don't.
You can call 611 on your phone and ask them how to do it, where to get the software if you need it, and how much it will cost...if any.
