The 10 to Ehernberg cutoff is the way i go to Parker its a nice flat drive no twists and turns like Rice rd.

Depart socal @ about 7500 climb to 9500 Direct Hector around restricted 2501 then direct HII . Depending on your airspeed anywhere from 35 to 80 minutes total time enroute. You could also go through Banning pass it just depends where you are coming from...That is the fastest and safest way to get there...

It's about the same you can Google map it from your location to where you are going and get the exact mileage but i prefer going through Parker its a easier drive but i am also in MO VAL so its a little closer for me.

I could go through parker, but it seems like Id have to backtrack once I got on the 95...Plus, Poston Road sucks!
I don't mind the I40 but the I10 has more places to stop if needed, it's up to you your the driver either way is fine.

Thanks, I like that the 10 has more but the Rice Road part scares me and id rather not mess with that. The speed going through the Res bites so Ill take the 40.

Nothing wrong with the 40, but the 15 getting to it sucks big time!! I've been caught up in to much shit on that road over the years, never take it again.

I-40, hands down. You'll hit Del Taco in Barstow right about the time they open so make sure to get a steak and cheese breakfast burrito. A quick piss, top the tanks off and hammer down to Havasu. 153 miles to the border, 9 to the exit, 20 more to Havi and you're there!!!Traffic on I-15 shouldn't be bad at 4AM, and the drive across 40 will be relaxing. Beats the hell out of navigating all the two lane roads up through Parker, especially when the early morning Sunday crazies will be trying to use your lane to pass other people on their way back to Cali...
Call me crazy, but stressing out over who is going to kill you on Rice Road defeats the purpose of going to the river to relax.
