How was your doggie's surgery today? Hope all went well....thinking of you and your family.

Still waiting to hear from my mom but she is supposed to be picked up at 4:30 so I dont know. I will update you as soon as I find out. Thanks for your concern and hope your doing ok....

Just got off the phone with my mom and she just talked to the vet. Surgery went great, Lola is doing great, so my sister is on her way to go pick her up. Thanks again for your concern Im sure my dad will post some pictures of the poor "no eye jack" with her lampshade on soon.

We also had a great time. We definitely need to make it a regular thing. Next time we will have to BBQ so we can meet the kids.... Maybe some Jello shots????

She is home, has a big bandage over the area. Seems to be OK , the big dogs tried to come and comfort her, she gave them a hardy growl. The liitle turd should be allright...Mom just went in to see her....

How did that happen?

First eye, they said it was glacoma.....We met some folks who had a dog from the same litter and the same problems...genetics, as far as the vet can tell ?????

I would do the same for my dogs without thinking. Just throw the ball to the right and all will be good!

This is the second eye removed....She has been blind for about three weeks and still gets around and is full of piss and vinigar, they said removing the eye would take away the pressure and not have any pain.....She seems to be in some degree of pain right
now and very irritable, to be exspected..I'll keep you updated...
