I have quit the music business for 5 years at a time, it's like a bucking bronco, sooner or later you get back on and swear it's the last time!!!!!!! Why change anything that has worked so inefficient for so long??????

So true. Fortunately when I was 24 I was in a very promising band so I made a committment to myself that if it didn't pan out this time, music would forever become just a hobby and I would put 100% of my focus into my professional career. As you can guess, the music bus. didn't pan out, I followed my committment, and now have a successful career, a beautiful wife and home (and boat!), and I can still play in my free time. I do miss the gigs, but life has been pretty good.
