Probably didn't run the skater out to it's very limits with the family in the boat..Where are all the people here to beat you up on this?I got my azz reamed on a former boating site because I almost hit a sailboat at 35 MPH at night on Havasu while I was running full radar. The sailboat had no lights (zero navigation) whatsoever and nothing to reflect the radar, just a spotlight at the last second.
The radar works awesome too, worked great off the coast in CA in 1/8 mile visibility.
35mph at night is running your boat at it's limits in terms of lack of visibillity.. As you found out, Radar doesn't pick up everything.I wouldn't call it a "reaming" either.. LOL just a suggestion to slow it down a little night?

RiverDave you are right, just a fast cruise with junior sleeping.But it was faster than Magic Mike has gone in a boat before.
