Default Aftershock/Carrera Boats still in business?

I pass by their shop regulary and I haven't really seen anything going on there lately. Today as I was driving down Jurupa Ave in Riverside and I decided to head down the street they're located on to take a closer look. The place looks like a ghost town. There is several molds in the yard collecting dust but not really any sign of anything going on there.

I happened to notice a note hanging on the office door and curiosity got the best of me, so I stopped to see what it was. It was 48 hour notice of disconnect from the Riverside Public Utilities Dept. It said utilities were being shut off on Monday if past due charges were not payed in full.

Hate to say it but (IMO) there are some tough times ahead for some of the smaller boat builders out here.

After flipping through my latest issue of Hot Boat, I did notice they have a full page ad in there. Maybe they should have saved their money and paid their utility bill.

Carrera went to hell after Aftershock bought em'... im not surprised to hear all this. It sucks that such a great product was run into the ground.
