URINE TEST
(I sure would like to know who wrote this one!

They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)


Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job.

I work, they pay me.

I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck,

I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who DON'T have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.

I do, however, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS doing drugs while I work.

Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

they should cut off the welfare.

most people that need it ,can't get it..
the people getting it, all pool resources and educate each other to exploit the system.

all leo's , officers of the court, deputy DA's and judges should be subject to random drug testing.

I do agree that people on welfare should absolutely have to pass urine tests, if you have money to be wasting on recreational drugs you shouldn't be sucking off the system.

However i also believe a urine test is no judge of how well you perform your job, some of the hardest working, most successful guys i've ever met i found later to be big time pot heads.... what people do in their off time is their choice as far as i'm concerned, when it starts affecting their performance at the job then we have a problem, the problem is their performance and nothing else regardless of the urine test. On the other hand know quite a few completely sober people (they don't even drink) they are total losers, have no skills, and no ambition. Like i say, drug use is no clear indicator of performance, everyone is different.

One problem with cutting off welfare is the rise in crime when they start stealing the checks from others. Most of these folks aren't gonna work no matter what. But drug testing would be justified and in reality probably a good thing. There should be some limiting factor in paying welfare and an analysis of why people and their subsequent offspring remain on welfare. So many problems and so much expense trying to find an ideal situation/solution to an evergrowing problem.

I favor sterilizaton of the majority of these "misfits" abusing the system but the Leftist "sympathy nuts" would fight that one tooth and nail. ACLU would be all over it. But again I feel complete sterilization of many third world countries to be in order to end famine and starvation. Maybe I'm being cold and unfeeling in many minds, but reproduction in the 3rd world and the lower welfare class here in the US is way out of hand and just compounding the problem with new generations of impoverished ignorance.
