Anybody have a place there? Always thought about buying one of the mobile homes there.

Anybody know of the units for sale by owner in there? Anybody feel like doing some recon work? I know they have only one lady who does the park model sales but she never wants to give out FSBO stuff.

We got rid of our place in the Beachcomber RV park last year. And I mean got rid of it!! Basiclly gave it away. Both the Beachcomber, and Crazyhorse have raised the monthly rent so high, it was not worth having a place. It was cheaper to stay at the Nautical for the weekend!. Crazyhorse has some nice units and then their are some "carppy" ones!! You can have a nice place and one of those "crappy" ones right next door. You can buy them cheap now, but the month to month rent is the killer!!
I would look into the Islander RV Park for a park model, you will spend more $$, but the park is SUPER nice, and the office will property manage it for you if you want to rent it out. They have a website: www.islanderrvpark.com click on park models for sale.

    Good luck!!

I don't know how often the prices are updated on the Islander site, but there are a lot of park models for sale and some of them are empty and have been on the market for a long time.

You have a place there now? Since we sold our house up there, we had been staying at a family friend's place. Unfortunately, they just got divorced and he got the place so we're looking at buying our own.

Crazy Horse has always been more reasonable than both Islander and Beachcomber. I think CRH is $345.00 a month at least last year. We've had my coach on the site during the last 6 summers and rates have gone up 5 - 10 a year. I haven't checked this year yet but word has it there is alot of Non-returning summer monthlies. Last year there was about 5-6 units for sale and I'm sure they're alot more reasonable now....

As far a parks go, there is no better park in Havasu then The Islander....
    It's clean, sucure and fun!
If anyone is interested I have a place for sale at the Islander #284, as with several others we are not listed on their web site. This is a must sell and a must see. With approx $300,000 invested, $50,000 in interior furnishings, I have it up for $175,000 furnished. Call for more details,
    714-329-1340.
