    Damn guess i cant boat tomorrow than cause theres a checkpoint and from what i read on the internet the cops dont care if they bump your boat wheter its safe of not to pull besides you in rough water,or you scratch the bottom of your boat from beaching it on sand/gravel/rocks.I read it here before so it must be true.

    That's true........ I was with an old friend of mine in his boat when he got rolled on the river, about a mile south of Harrahs in Laughlin. It was night time and there was an issue with the lighting. They ended up taking him onto their boat to test him, and then decided to run to a dock so we weren't just drifting with the swift current. It was 4th of July and I think they had a newby chick driving - they were giving her instruction anyway..... While pulling away from his boat she totally nailed the side of it leaving a decent size scratch. They waved a sorry, but ended up still writting him.....

    No checkpoints on the river either.....but they had A WHOLE LOT of boats running around!

    Looks like SB Sheriffs have a nice new boat in the Topock Gorge. Twin 250's....bet it'll move right along too!!!

    I was there all weekend and saw your boat several times. There was a checkpoint. We got checked and released in about 5 minutes. They had several people pulled over to the side. I saw one family leaving in a taxi, which leads me to believe that someone in their crew may have been arrested.

    It was on Sat afternoon I would guess, right?

    Ya, if they went away in a taxi chances are all of them were drunk or no lic driver.

    Anybody else go thru the checkpoint? If I see the stats on this I will post em up.....

    When we pulled in you were still on the lake, in fact you had just past us going the other direction. I got a few pics of your boat, I'll post them later.
