Water level is still as high as I have ever seen right now. I think it is more like 1/3 of the Channel is usable. If you want a spot better do a duck-hunt launch.
I imagine a lot of people will be heading up to the new Pirates Cove. As far as hanging out on the water where it will be happening, I imagine Copper Canyon and Steamboat Cove will be the main spots. I know in the past when they close the sandbar, the little sandbar has been the spot to go to, but with the water level being so high, I don't think it will be this year.
Saturday night Two Guys here in Havasu is celebrating their one year anniversary and will be having two bands and food and drink specials. Should be a good party.
So I have neve even thought of this before but is there a law against anchoring in the channel? In the wide part that is by the LBR?
