If I am not mistaken I saw the truck only on Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. pulling into Javelina Cantina parking lot. (I am not kidding) I made a joke that he was trying to park in the low clearance parking. I was surprised that the truck would even turn into that tight of an area. No boat was attached but the truck was big enough and very noticeable.
I seen a truck like that blow by me on Rice Road last Friday evening. WTF does that matter if it was stolen last night.

I was in havasu this weekend and at the cantina saturday night. I left monday at 8 am and drove home with the usual stops for food and outlet stores that a 8 year old and women would demand. I arrived home at aprox 2 o clock and feeling guilty for missing a few hours from my bussiness i headed to work. I returned home around 10 pm to find everything in order. I then crashed out around 11 and woke at around 6 am to find my truck and boat missing. Two of my nieghbors heard the truck start around 4:30 am but assumed i was heading out. The odd thing is i have never brought this boat to california, if some one watched me, it was only yesterday. I am thinking they want my motors and drives to put in some of those magic boats that where sold with no motors. I have no payments on this boat so it was nothing financial! I just want my boat back, the truck i can replace but the boat now would be very expensive. Thanks for every ones help (brent). jon

Because the Freightliner has wing windows, it makes it simple to steal. I don't think they want the motors and drives for a specific Magic that may have been sold with a motor/drive package. Someone probably saw an opportunity to steal a truck and the boat was a bonus.

Motors and drives
It has 525's and XR drives
My SiL had his racecar and tow truck stole a few years back from a motel parking lot. It was a random act like this appears and they were found a couple days later. Tools, 4-wheeler, and all loose items gone but car and truck were intact.
I'd wager this was a crime of opportunity and they don't know what they have so they might abandon the whole thing with minor damage. It just doesn't fit any other profile unless someone spotted the rig on the road and followed you home with a specific purpose in mind.
Hope it all works out and everything gets back to you in working order.

and the really "shitty" part is, if the asshole pieces of shit are caught, they'll get the typical slap on the wrist for theft !!!!, and you get to deal with all the misery and insurance crap.

hey browns fan sorry for your loss. but i have some quesitons that you prob have already been through. you did check with anahiem pd to see if they had it towed right? i tow big shit like that but if i can get it started i drive it in. when you reported it stolen you may have reported it before the tow company reported it towed or the pd did not get the paperwork in till the end of his shift. i have no doubt your a stand up guy if you live in anahiem hills. it takes a couple of bucks to live out there. what are the chances the repo man grabbed it? now adays if you miss one payment or are even 1 day late bill collectors are blowin your phones up and sicking the repo man on you quick. im sure this is not the answer and im not trying to accuse you of being that type of person or throw u under the bus in anyway but in this day and age you never know. i mean you no disrespect at all and i hope you dont take this as a hit from me
