Anyone have any experience with it? Time has come to repaint the house and we like the company's claims, I just don't know if I can believe them. Claims to reduces the surface temperatures by up to 40' when compared to traditional paints in many of the colors... I am getting a quote, wonder what find the cost difference will be.

Is this the same stuff one of the Federal Czars wants all the roads and rooftops painted with to help stop Global Warming?

At least someone will think I'm joking.
I'm not.

The company that gave me a quote said it would be $ 15000.00 to do my house. I told him to pound sand. Then another rep calls about a week later and said it should have been $ 12000. I asked the first guy how many days i had to say yes to the job and he said it was a 1 time offer. I don't really know how it works but my quotes for all jobs are good for 30 days.

These guys are rediculous. Got a quote for my house, 2000 Sq. Ft. 2 Story and they wanted like $20K. told them that was way too much and they asked what I wanted to pay, I just threw out a number and said $10K so they would not even bother. 3 days later they called back and said they could do it for $12K. I would still rather paint the house 3 times for less than that. Good Luck

An ex worker of mine's brother sells that product, or one similar. Its a scam. They make a ton of claims, have an unbelievable warranty and then the company disappears and renames itself every few years to avoid the warranty claims.

How old is this company that is quoting you?

IMO you'd be better of to just have a quality paint job done on it.

I was told they had a guy in my area and he would give me a quote. I told them I was not really interested but I thought a quote would not be bad as my house was built in 1991 and has never been painted. Then I was told he was running late as he was stuck in traffic. I thought wow traffic in Chino on a Sat. When the guy arrives I ask him where he came from and he told me Gardena. I told he he should leave right now as Gardena in not in the Chino area. to make a long story short its a scam just like the Kirby Vac guys. I had to throw this guy out of my house. He was at the house for almost 5 hours. what a joke.

LOL, I had to throw a Kirby vacuum sales man out once.. Good times.. And then manger came over and tried to give us a hard time. sale tactics were very dirty, high pressure sales. Door to door sales blows.. Now I answer the door and get the dog run them out.. ;)

I was impressed with the Kirby but the cost wasn't in my budget.

I was not home when the wife let the kirby man in... I didn't find out about it till the credit card bill came. She said he wouldn't leave till she bought it. I wish I was home. These high pressure sales men are jack asses. I tried to contact the BBB about them but nothing came about.

I am at this point now--got quote--nearly $15,000, but they will do a lot more than paint--which , they say, I'll never have to do again. What did you learn? IS this stuff legit?? Did you do it?
