Magic 28 deck with no engine

i am looking into buying a 2008 28 magic deck. it was was of the boats bought from magic when they went under. i was wondering if anyone would have any kind of idea of how much it would cost to buy and install a mercury 525.

Mercury Racing 525 EFI and Bravo XR outdrive fully complete and ready to install. When I say complete I mean complete, from the crank pulley to the prop shaft, from the air filter to the oil pan, it's all there, including the CMI headers. Everything you need is there to put it in a boat so don't ask if it has this piece or that itme, it has it all!!! It would be perfect for one of those Magic Boats that was bought as a stage 3 with no power. There are approx 100 hours on this unit and its in perfect condition. Price from Mercruiser is about $47,000 for this package, so you would be saving big money.

The information that you are asking for seems to be tough to find. I guess that no one wants to publish a price for this type of project, Seems to be top secret information. I saw that DCM posted a link to a price sheet for Mercruser stuff the other day though. Good luck with your project. Lance Oster could give a price also. He is in Havasu and comes very highly recommended from lots of his customers...

Well i will speak up with everything it would be better to buy a new boat from someone else! like try Jason Faust at Nordic he has brand new deck boats for 68k BRAND NEW! having one of those old magics that sat out in the sun and people walked on them and scratched them. i think with a 525 rigged with all the stuff your lookin at around 75=80 when i looked at it. Call jason faust in corona nordic boats office he will make you a deal the other guy in here that seems to be a deal maker is the chetah boats guy..then you get a warranty and someone to stand behind what they build...

Isn't Magic back in business being owned and built by Cougar boats now? Why don't you have them do the whole set up of the bare hull and you will probably get a warranty with the whole package and hull also.

Awhile back this guy had this same pkg for sale for $15,000 for everything. I called and talked to him and he was absolutly clueless. I asked him where it came from and he said it came out of a friends boat because he upgraded and he bought it from him a few years ago. I asked him for some serial #'s and he didn't know anything about the serial #'s. He was supposed to send me pictures and never did. I think if he really has this stuff, there is a story behind it. Sure was a strange guy!
