gravy, just need a harmonic balancer puller to press off the pinion yoke.you can just use the ujoint strap bolts. check the seal on the back of it too, sometimes they melt and ya have to buy a new yoke![]()

Make sure you put teflon sealer on the pinion spline, I have seen them leak down the splines and also clean the vent and hose !!!

so i just got around to trying to do this. what socket do you use for the big a$$ nut that holds the balancer on?

yeah, take the big nut off and there's a washer behind it, a magnet will pull it out. use a harmonic balancer puller across the 2 ubolt clamp mounts and press against the pinion, the yoke will pop right off. only tighten the nut till it stops, don't keep hammering it with a impact gun or you'll crush the sleeve more and jack up clearences![]()

ok back at it. got the driveline out of the way, now its timew for the big ass nut. what size socket do i need? if i have to buy one i want to make sure its the right size.
