do it yourself, wet sand with 1500 or 2000. Then buff with compound then polish then wax. Its real easy to do. Just keep the paper wet, very wet and don't rub too hard on corners (you will rub right thru the color)

It gets pricey real quick... I've put it off all year, so let me know what you come up with

I think the "does not charge a doctors wage" part killed this thread.

i have done it before and am capapble of doin it just don't wanna haha. got too much going on after the first of the year with business and just rather pay to get it done if i can find a fair price. i have been quoted some ridiculous numbers, not gonna name any names but i thought we were in a recession. but a thousand bucks to do the top half of the boat seems ridiculous to me. am i missing something maybe???? i have someone already that i talked to in orange county that will do it for around 450 as a side job on the weekend. i guess i'm looking for someone just like that out in havi area that wants a side job and some cash.

Where's the boat located? I have a shop I do sidework out of, not sure if it would fit in there thou, might be able to do it around that price, but would need to look at it first.

    Give me a call

Had Mark at SoCal Detail do mine about 3 years ago still looks good even though my neighbor owns the boat, it was pretty inexpensive compared to new gel or paint. I know alot of guys hate to do it because its dirty and a crapload of work. Best advise I can give you is see if you can have any of the guys at a boat shop will do it on the side? Billy

I was told that Ron at Ron's Billet in Havi will do a 25' Daytona for about $500...
