have had a few 9's and although a nice compact shot. ive been over the nine since my glock 40 now im over the glock and want to stay in the 40 cal range and got the chance to fire my friend sig 40 and it was a really nice feel. i like the wider hand grip and to me.. the kick is about the same.
BLACK SMOKE DON'T MEAN ITS BROKE
Why not a .45 then? You'd have a wider grip and it would be a .45. Just saying. Not trying to be one of those that says you have to get this or that. Just saying research the .40. It's not how big the kick is but how it kicks. Very unnatural and it takes longer for you to reset for a followup shot. If you are just shooting for fun then not such a big deal but if for self defense or competitive shooting then...
Also I've read about alot of guns that work fine otherwise end up breaking prematurely with the .40 round. Such as Glock being fine in other calibers but then they just modify a 9 to put a 40 in and the pressures etc. make you end up with a broken chamber or barrel.
very good points. im looking for a change. nothing is ever def. there are so many opinions out there and a lot to take in. in the market. yes. do i like the sig? yes. is that my final answer? no. info like this is what i started this thread. i love outside opinions.
