Barret-Jackson is Bad ass. I went last year and there is a booth for every automotive product known to man....as well as booths for all the car manufacturers...and of course a couple of thousand vintage cars. Could not see it all in a day.

Even if it was shot with a stock color (you mentioned it was a mix), an acceptable match is unlikely. Kinda "damned if you do, and damned if you don't" if you know what I mean. I assume it was the carrier that F'ed up. Sure hope they have enough insurance for a complete.
I was surprised to see a nice deuce go across the block last night. Figured it would have been a Saturday car. Prices seemed a bit soft last night even for first night. Should make for some enjoyable viewing this weekend.

yea I am paying special attention this year, as I have about 60 cars backed up for restoration (landed a whole museum to restore), couple that caught my eye was the 61 metropolitan at $24k, and 72 442 at $26k, both are projects I currently have in process. I should have signed up to buy, I would have liked to have snagged that 68 galaxie fastback for $18k
