JIM S. is at it again,he is circulating a petition to keep any and all vendors out /off the Lake and Beaches.I understand it was getting out of hand but these people do provide services that are wanted and needed in some cases.The thing I do not understand is LHC is supposed to be a destination recreation area and vendors always go hand in hand with those type of places.I know it is about protecting his few members from any fair and honest competition.

LHC and BLM are supposed to be drafting an agreement to let vendors use the city park beaches (Rotary, and Island side). This petition from the LHCMA is to show opposition, ie, keep them from letting vendors park on the beaches as they have in the past. The Big Orange is working on getting back out on the lake which is OK by me. Not a big fan of the LHCMA, but I really don't want the shores to be clogged up by all the jet ski rental folks again.

Dear Friends of Rotary Park & All Lake Havasu City Parks & Beaches in Thompson Bay,

The City staff and the BLM are drafting an agreement that would allow Shoreline vendors at Rotary Park & Beach and possibly other Lake Havasu City Parks & Beaches in the Thompson Bay area if allowed. By signing this petition, you acknowledge that you disapprove of any type of permanent or semi-permanent shoreline activity at all Lake Havasu City public parks and beaches.

This petition DOES NOT include short term special events (i.e. Fall Fun Fair, 4 th of July, car shows etc).

Was the trailer collapsed and all the tires blown out? It is up in a storage lot now.
