If it were me I would go with a 400k btu heater

We miss you buddy
I have a 25x17 depth 3-6ft with a 7x7 spa. I have a 400kbtu heater. heats the spa from 52 to 102 in about 25-35 minutes. never have to heat the pool.
The difference between genius and stupidity...is that genius has its limits...

It depends on how fast you want to heat and how cold the water is. Were I live you could get away with a little 250 but if it were me I would put in a 400. In many cases the price difference is fairly small compared to how many more BTUs you get. Hope this helps......been in the business for over 20 years.
Thanks, needed the info for an engineer for a set of plans.![]()
