I’ve been using Acronis True Image and its “Try and Decide” option which allows you to run in a virtual environment, so that if you pick up anything bad, you simply discard the changes.
I tried clicking on all 3 virus links (ManInBlack, ladyAdmin and another), but initially Malwarebytes caught them all. Then Iolo System mechanic caught them. So I disabled all my virus and malware software and tried them again, to no avail.
Damnit. I like torturing myself like that.![]()

I hate the Iolo system mechanic. man that can slow your computer down!
I've used it for the past 6-7 years on all my computers, there's nothing better for maintaining your computer. CCleaner is a nice, free alternative but does not have many advanced features like Iolo does.
The anti virus seems similar to most others and I don't run the firewall because it conflicts with my Majick Jack. But the maintenance portion of the program is top notch.
If it's slowing down your system, then it's time for a fresh install or reformat. most likely, you have remnants of other anti virus software on your computer and they are fighting for resources; they don't play friendly with each other. Revo uninstaller does a good job of eliminating programs that stick around after a OEM uninstall.
Just some thoughts...
