I like godaddy, they seem to be real easy to work with.

    Network Solutions works for us.
We hosted our own for a few years, even with T1 it was a pig.

Godaddy here too, never seen them down.

Sometimes their interface is somewhat difficult to read and navigate, but they seem to have de-cluttered it.

If you're doing an ecommerce site, use whoever your web person suggests.

I'm about to build a database/mySQL website and will stay with Godaddy.

No commerce, just heres who we are, cars weve done, cars for sale, current projects. I assume they would have little boiler plate templates to get started? Or do we have to start with a web designer?

I use 1&1... If you plan to do the site yourself and use MS Frontpage you need a package that includes "front page extensions", it makes the uploading process a bit easier if your new to this...

I like the support at Go Daddy. The annual price is better than the monthly. I did the annual for years but now just do monthly. I think its like 7 bucks or less. Its more if you add a store front. Basic web design with MS Extentions.

I have MS Front page and made my own page. Like yours it was just to say Hey we're here. An introduction page. Later I paid for the a few other deals that lead traffic to the site. Better to just get it out there yourself and save the money.

There are more hosting sites out there now. So far Go Daddy has been there when I had a question 24/7. The email accounts help too.
