Default What Do You Do To Save Money Here And There???

i recently stop buying sodas from the vending machine and just refill my water bottle from the water fountain.......saves me around $10 a week. I mean $1.35 per bottle or .65 for each can adds up....plus i hear its good for you to drink alot of water.

    What do you do?

I've been bringing my lunch to work, that seems to help also.

I buy the bourbon by the plastic gallons instead of Knob Creek.

Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder!

That helps a ton!! Since it's winter now, I've been bringing soup (can o soup, bowl, spoon, (+ micro)) and a few crackers, snack, fruit, and water or a can of soda (from home).

For just about 3 bucks, i'm good to go.

Before, I was spending about $10 a day.

    ($7/day savings x 22 days/month = $154 saved!)

Now if I could just get the wife to lay off the Starbuck's.

Not eating out so much saves us a lot. Between my fiance and I we were spending almost $1k a month on just food. Everyday, 10 bucks at lunch each, dinner 30-60 bucks. Shit adds up quick. We about choked when we added it up.

That and not driving everywhere, try to stay home more often during the week. Gas bill was killing me too.

Same here. I stopped going to lunch and started bringing my own lunch.

I would average $15/day for lunch. I've lost weight and put the money into an IRA account.

    It's been 2 years and I've saved almost $8000 .
