Default John Force closing in Yorba Linda, Neff out as driver

Looks like a smart business move, plus he is going the way of some engine builders like WJ (engines) and selling chassis.

Surprised to hear that but dont blame him for leaving Taxifornia. This state is not business friendly.

Four cars in the same class seemed like to many anyway, they were always eliminating each other.

Moving out of California had to be a tough personal decision for Him, but a no brainer business wise. (Another taxpaying business chased out of the State)

I expected to see Neff dropped as a competing car (apparently he will still be with the team as Coils assistant or something like that), but I also expect one or both of his other daughters coming up to FC or Fuel soon.

If he's truly looking out for the "Next Generation" why doesn't he retire & give Neff his ride? It's not like Castrol is going to take their sponsor dollars anywhere else.

I bet he's keeping that mansion that he's building up on the old Yorba family ranch.

Geographically it makes good business sense. Right in the middle of the country (tornado alley though) and his travel time and expense to the races is reduced. More shop time, less travel expense.... can't ask for much more. Sorry to see him go after all these decades.

A lot of teams are based out of Indiana these days. LArry Dixon moved there a few years back.

Force's shop in Brownsburg is state of the art. There are several big teams on "Nitro Alley" in Brownsburg including Don Shumacher Racing, Vance & Hines, Don Prudhomme, and Kenny Bernstein.

    Schumacher's shop is freekin' huge....

Have to agree with everything he is doing. All seem like smart and calculated moves.
