Looks like a smart business move, plus he is going the way of some engine builders like WJ (engines) and selling chassis.

Wish I had a chance to check out his shop, guess it won't happen now
Surprised to hear that but dont blame him for leaving Taxifornia. This state is not business friendly.

Life is all about ass, you're either covering it, hauling it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.
Four cars in the same class seemed like to many anyway, they were always eliminating each other.
Moving out of California had to be a tough personal decision for Him, but a no brainer business wise. (Another taxpaying business chased out of the State)
I expected to see Neff dropped as a competing car (apparently he will still be with the team as Coils assistant or something like that), but I also expect one or both of his other daughters coming up to FC or Fuel soon.
I bet he's keeping that mansion that he's building up on the old Yorba family ranch.![]()
I have been in his shop a couple times....back when it was in a rented gas station on tamarack in brea...back around 1980...i had an apartment right behind it...things sure change
Geographically it makes good business sense. Right in the middle of the country (tornado alley though) and his travel time and expense to the races is reduced. More shop time, less travel expense.... can't ask for much more. Sorry to see him go after all these decades.

Force's shop in Brownsburg is state of the art. There are several big teams on "Nitro Alley" in Brownsburg including Don Shumacher Racing, Vance & Hines, Don Prudhomme, and Kenny Bernstein.
Schumacher's shop is freekin' huge....
John Force is building one of the most spectacular homes in Orange county if your ever driving on the 91 frwy near imperial hwy in yorba linda. just look to the north and you will see what looks like a hotel on the entire hilltop and that is forces new home..
Have to agree with everything he is doing. All seem like smart and calculated moves.
