Thanks, for the Link.I have had several Shepards over the years and think people who do NOT have a Dog, understand what UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is. I need to get in gear soon.I just want to give him as much Freedom as possible as fun to watch run.

I used to run my rottie around the block with my street bike until i sold it and he was gettin would up plenty tight so now i take him for a ride in the car and stop at the bottom of the hill on the way home and let him out and let him run home...first week he could run 15mph...now he is up to 20....i bet he could run 25 on flat ground....

And he is a pound puppy too

Said goodbye to my buddy Cletus a week ago today when this guy shows up needing a new home ASAP. It didn't take my wife two seconds to say "go for it" since she was still crying daily about Cletus. He's a wonderful boy and he's a valentine's day baby like me!

Default Very funny this thread would come up today

Note: Rexone was not looking for new dog. Rexone already has several dogs.

    Brief timeline:

Wed - Rexone notices small dog sleeping next door on abandoned mattress beside empty industrial building.

Rexone approaches, dog runs under shipping container. Multiple attempts over next day, same result

Thurs - Dog still there, same result as above.

Friday - Rexone decides to rescue dog before starves to death or gets eaten by neighborhood coyotes and cruise the area regularly. Rexone brings trap to work he uses to catch squirrels.

6pm - Rexone sets trap with dog food inside and leaves for boat show
10pm - Rexone returns from boat show and retrieves trap with dog inside but no dogfood

10:05pm - Rexone thinks to self, ok now wtf?

11pm - Rexone establishes temporary home for dog in womens restroom at Rex Marine
11:30pm - Rexone feeds dog, dog gobbles

    Saturday -

10am - Rexone gets up and calls vet, takes dog in.

12 pm - Dog is terrier mix and is 5 Months old. Rexone thinks to self, oh shit

1pm - Rexone stops at Petco on return to temp home to buy bowl, collar, leash, nylabone, flea shampoo, etc

2pm - Rexone has dog in sink at new facility washing dirt off. Note: Puppy is not crazy about probably first bath in life.

3pm - Dog is dry and back at temp home at other facility

6pm - Rexone comes to realization that at very least he is now a foster parent of a 5 month old healthy but underweight skinny puppy that everything in life will be a new experience for

Vet Costs for shots, checkup, deworming round 1 - $82
Various puppy items from Petco - $45
Knowing saved this little guy's life more than likely - Priceless

And that's how my week went.

    A name implies permanent ownership

I was very careful to crop out most of my office floor and desk just for the above reason.
