Police Survey


The Lake Havasu City police department is asking residents and visitors alike to complete a survey as part of an effort to develop a five year strategic plan.

``This plan is being developed in an effort to focus the Department's efforts and to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our community in a responsive and responsible manner," Sergeant Joe Harrold said in a news release. He said the questionnaire will help the Department gauge public perception of its performance.

``The survey consists of questions that ask for the opinion of our residents and visitors on the delivery of police services, areas of concern that need additional enforcement, the conduct of officers and other department employees, and the overall safety of the community," the release stated. ``The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete."

The Department is hoping to collect at least 5,000 completed surveys. The surveys are available at the Police Facility and they can be downloaded from the www.LHCPD.com website, with a click link on the banner at the bottom of the homepage.

Anyone wanting additional information about the survey or the strategic planning effort can speak with Sergeant Joe Harrold or Lieutenant Richie Sloma at (928) 855-1171.

Just so everybody knows, the above, post #1 is a cut and paste copy of a article in http://www.havasunews.com/, a local paper in Havasu. I posted as it as a PSA. It is not my survey.

A few years back the current chief (Dan Doyle) was promoted, the prior one was an azzzzzzzzzz, and terminated. A more enlightened progressive forward thinking management was established. LHPD is a better department now and seeking everyones input to make it better yet. I know many of them, and they do a very good job with the resources they have.

Curiousity got the best of me again. Damn. You had to go thru 22 pages of threads or hundreds of my posts to dig this up again. Who has issues.

I think it is great that the police are taking the time to care about what the city thinks.
I wish the city would do that before they make hasty decisions that put people out of work or hust our town.

I wanted to see if you were a good person or just an ass-
It seems as thou you are a good person-it just makes me wonder about why you would try to sabotage a fight against human rights-that basically you dont know all the issue to. Im sure you have your reasons.

Ever watch SNL, "jane you ......" I'm on your side and you can't even see it. You are in a "Battle" if you will. And you fighting on there turf. If you don't fight by their rules, you will lose. Spend your days giving out free pasties to those drunken fools that will say anything you want to get anything free. These are not the peeps that have to look at the beaches covered in PWC everyday. They are also not your customers. Think the BLM doesn't know this.

and ignorant means not knowing- believe me -I am more informed on this issue than you are.
If the BLM had aweb site that could be used-I would not have had to sit down there and get comments. Do you think I wanted to sit down there all weekend? I am glad because I let people know what this has done to our city. The ones that showed up to go against the issue -at least sat down and listened before they wrote anything.
All of my signatures were legit-I even had people come there and to our office just to fill one out. I dont care what you or the BLM think about my signatures-you are always gonna come up with some kind of excuse..

The people put their names, addresses phone numbers, emails check them-you will see for yourself.
And no you arent "FOR" me/us. Quit patting yourself on the back.

I take back about you being a good person-good people dont call names and act foolish to deflect from their own guilt..
