    Default Pppphhhhhhuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk..........

    Got laid off again......

They just wanted me for the end of the year "DUMP" as some call it. It is when they send out a ton of proposals to bid on.(Fed/Gov.work) It is alot to due in a short period, so they brought me in for it...

I was hoping they would keep me on, but once I saw how they ran the place, It is kinda nice not to be part of it.
I am very structured and they ran by the "seat of the pants".
But still I needed a few more months to build the savings back to what I took out since I was laid off before.

Good thing for me (for my self confedence) is winning a couple jobs......
So, they won by having me there and I won by working a month..

Can I still get unemployment still???
My paper work says I was laid off/reduction in workforce.....

You will get unemployment. Even if they deny you then you will win the appeal if you have paperwork that says that. It's slam dunk. Good luck out there. I got close this week but they went with another candidate. Grrrrr.

Sorry to hear that Johnny, it has been 3 years for me and i am getting sick of turning in resumes and not even getting a rejection letter. i hope it turns around after the election. it is getting hard to sell parts and stuff, seems no one is cutting loose with any cash. look at how cheap boats and vintage cars are and no one buying.

Resumes are kind of a waste of time.....i did it too, until i decided i really needed to get a job.....I put my
'You should hire me, i can make YOU money'
attitude on....and pounded some pavement....didn't do that for very long...
    first place i went...hired me....

Yep, thats my attitude once we meet.....
I have always made money on all of my projects...
once I was there a couple of weeks I saw that my days were numbered, but still gave them 100%.
I even tried to guide them on the numbers, but of course they did not listen and so they did not land as many jobs as they wanted.(landed maybe 5 out of 75,I landed two of them)
I mean who has high mark-up in this economy........

I wished them well and hope they have a good year.

Yes. It needs to pay enough but yes.

We've been hiring bus drivers, and were are about to lose one more. I don't know if that's your kind of work.

Not in my line of work and would need a class B but I'd do it if it would work out. You are in Bakersfield though. Far cry from Chino.

    What kind of shop?

Just curious. I'm working something else on the side to hopefully have extra money and if it takes off and I don't have to work for someone that would be cool too.
