Did any of you get the "notice" in the mail??

Looks like Mohave Cty has appointed a financial company. As the receivership for them. Did they claim BK?

What did it say? I am waiting for money they owe me!!!

I have made multiple requests for my $300 deposit back. This has been since July 2 when I moved my boat out of their facility.

I have left messages on at least 4 occasions and never once am I ever called back. When initially talking with the woman who runs storage, she said she cuts checks and mails them within 2 weeks.

The letter basically said that this "management company" was appointed by mohave cty. As the new receivership and to make payments to them and some other legal jargin...

Hmmm you just reminded my that I don't think I ever got my deposit back from 3 years ago. I called and it was the same story. Checks cut every 2 weeks or something like that. I even stopped in one day and they told me that story to my face. Got busy with life, forgot about it and your post just reminded me.

Yes, you pay first and last month up front. Problem is, they charge you until you take the boat out of there and "cut you a check" for the the last month because you already paid it at time of entering storage.

They have a good little scam going there. My monthly fee was $300, so my first month's charge was $600.

The check never arrives and following up doesn't help. I need Shadow or Deano to collect my debt.

Some may take this wrong but deal with it. Judy was always a great person to deal with, and I did alot of business with them back in the late 80's and into the early 90's, from storage, service, market purchases, detail to launch and retrieve, usually $500.00 per month. Now Bob on the other hand was a terrible businessman. I hate to speak of the dead but I'd bet this is all a snow ball affect from what he left for her to fix.

Too bad for the LHC economy and Judy.
