    Default Very cool storm over my house

    this morning in BHC. Woke up about 4A with the thunder and all morning there has been a thunder and lighting show pretty much over the house. The rain has been steady, lost power real quick a few times with lighting strikes all around. Looked at the radar and it seems there is a full string moving right into us which should take a couple of more hours to pass.

    I love it like this but for my own safety came back in the house I am sure my Pup Rocks (the pup formerly known as Roxy) thinks I am controlling this also....lol She is kind of like WTF is going on?

    Great way to start a Sunday in the desert

    those lighter color marks are "hits" in the last 10 minutes!!

    Love thunderstorms, especially when I'm camping...as long as my equipement is good! I went to Lassen NP a few years back with my dog just to get away, T-storms every night. My dog's laying on her bed and her ears twitch every once in a while listening to the thunder...the last hit is close with that "Ripping fabric" sound and she looks over her shoulder at me and I say, "It's OK, girl" and she lays her head back down; 15 minutes later it was over so I turned the light out and rolled on my side...a few minutes later I hear her padding across the tent- she curled up against my chest, so I push and she pushes back, push-push, push-push..."Fine! stay there!" She's the boss of me!
