    Default Tankless water heaters?

    Anyone have one? Gas or Electric?

    House has city water and electric, but runs off of propane should I stay with electric or maybe switch to a gas one?

    Which ever you decide do not hook it up without soft water, hard water voids the warranty and tears them up.
    You must prepare for the darkness while traveling in the sunlight!

    I have a pair of high volume ones I purchased for a home I never built. After researching quite a bit, I found this was the best way to go. Mine are for propane.

    Heat your electric tank during non-peak hours and you will come out way ahead with fewer headaches.

    My regular HWH seems to destroy the annode inside so I'm guessing this would be the same?

    Yes, Havasu has very hard water, you will find most folks have a softener, but hardness is especialy hard on tankless units.

    I'm sure you can find someone in the yellow pages or someone here can give you a referral. You can always pick one up at Home Depot,Sears or Lowes but those are low end units.

    I have two Rinais(sp?) in my home. They are awesome. I would stay away from the Bosche(sp?). They have a lot of problems. Mine run on propane.
