I just use a well wrung out towel (water) sometimes a little windex. Its kind of important to know what finish is on the floor. The care for an old waxed floor is going to be different that one with a newer type urethane, water born, or acid cured (catalized) finish. I'm not 100 percent sure....but I think the murphys oil soap has oil in it...oil is a no no for a newer finish...it could cause bonding issues if you ever go to recoat the floor. If your floor is dulled...you may end up considering a recoat. Around here that would run you 2.00 to 2.50 per foot.

Take a look at the Bona (I know, I know - it's a Swedish company) Hardwood Floor Cleaning System. You'll want the hardwood floor mop that carries the cleaning solution on board. Not cheap upfront, but it does a nice job and saves a lot of time and aggravation. Got mine at Ace Hardware, but I'm pretty sure it's available elsewhere.

    BONA is it...
I don't know who you are and I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you....
