That's a nice looking piece of machinery, would be cool to see some video of it running and maybe some dyno pulls....

For the poll the questions are red or yellow outfit on the model. Any more detail can be left in the replies.[/QUOTE]

I would say the red. It matchs the rest of the picture

That will be awesome to see the outcome of that engine once it gets in the boat!

    Edit:
I want to vote in the poll "Who cares about the outfit, she's hot!"

If you feel you "must" have the chick the above is the one I'd go with. It has the most girl next door look. I'd suggest for future find cute chicks perhaps from the performance boats membership roster , that don't look like "pro" models so to speak.

The photo I'd choose though is the last one of the motor alone. I know "sex" sells is the old adage. I think its also very stale for the serious gearhead enthusiast.

    Let the beating commence.

Default Powertrain system for the monster

Hello, the drive system will be a Casale V-drive with specialty prepped hardware. The gears will be 60% (which is not enough) however with the 60 gear the windage will be under somewhat control. The drive system although strong will work well because a v-drive system typically is in cavitation its entire time of operation. think of it as a car burning out all the way down the strip. So, the mastery will be the driving of this monster to keep it as hooked up as possible. We will be working with propshaft lengths, props and plate adjustments to keep this 21' boat under somewhat control. We will post more pics soon. Thanks

    Default engine stand!

The engine stands were made for us by a company called YARDARM. They are great folks, give them a call. Thanks

There were over 500 shots taken of the engine and the model in various poses.
Our poll asks which outfit, red or yellow, is more appealing.

When we started the shoot at 10pm, we thought the red outfit was the best. However after seeing Carissa in the yellow outfit around midnight, we decided it was much better. Andrew voted for her wearing as little as possible.

We will make sure that every Nut and Bolt is exposed on this motor so that nobody
misses anything when we feature next month's cover.

    That would be my vote.

I take it this is the same engine that is inside the back cover in the last issue? Nice piece!

    X-10---I agree!

As for the model I like the red outfit and she is a very gorgeous woman.
