Default Ouestion for Boatcop or AZ Dmv girl

Have the laws in AZ changed to prevent non-resident registration on boat trailers? My trailer is registered in AZ to my CA address. This was done as AZ MVD in 2006.

    Thanks in advance

Are you trying to cheat on those taxes that you're so hoping they increase on the rich????

I read a post which stated that AZ no longer allows non-resident reg on vehicles. (Trailers) Permanent trailer reg costs the same in CA as it does in AZ. Just trying to confirm or deny.

I know Ca will reg and send to Az Addy, been doing that with some old blk/ylw plates for years.
    in Az
AZGF does reg on your boat
    MDV does the trailer
either will Reg. if you store/use more than 50% of the time in Az.
don't ask me about fees....I escaped from Ca a decade ago
    Karma, it's worth the wait

My truck and trailer live in AZ and are registered there with a CA mailing address. This has been for the last 3 years. Boat trailer has a permanent plate. We boat in Az nearly all the time . But once went to Bear Lake for 3 days. I figure the state that I use the boat in should get my taxes to support what I enjoy, like a user fee.

John..I just got off the phone with a registration lady in AZ. The key word is non-resident. She said AZ fish and game are a little different then the MVD. But you just need to make sure your paying the higher non-resident fees.
