    Default Ticket for length?

Buddy got pulled over by CHP on the way home from Havasu this weekend. His motor home is 40ft pulling a 25ft boat (trailer is prolly 29ft). Trooper told him his overall lenght was 69ft. He is a commercial fuel driver and has a commercial license. Apparently this doesn't matter. Does this sound right? Can he expect to beat this ticket? Thanks so much...

    I don't know.

What's the violation code that he was written up for? I think that would be the easiest way to look it up.

65' max in Texas(we checked). Unless you get a permit for over length. You would have to get a permit each time you towed.

Drive during shift change, and the fact there's millions of cars going down the road compared to the small amount of cops. I often wonder this same thing when i go to the drag races., some VERY long rigs there.
