    Default Courthouse- Dress Code?

I am in my normal work attire of 20 years which is a PB shirt and a pair of shorts.
I have jury duty in an hour.

    Will they send me home??

Don't think they will send you home but I don't recall seeing anyone wearing shorts in court.

You'll probably be going directly to jail , Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
I'd agree with you, but then we would both be wrong

Long pants, shirt with a collar will do for jury duty.

X's 2. I wouldn't even walk in the courthouse with what you have.

Over at RiverDave's, we aren't even allowed to post wearing shorts and flip-flops.

If you get assigned a trail, and it is judegment day, and someone is going to prison, I would wear a tie/suit. Sort of a formal good bye.

Just as an afterthought, few people can take away someones civil rights for awhile; police officers by arrest, prosecuters that charge someone with a crime, then the judge/jury.

This is just jury selection. I found the officers at the front very short and rude. Surprised. Just like going through airport security.
