I purchased a (10 of 10)used 2007 Nordic Rage in Lake Havasu a few weeks before Easter from a private owner. I live in New Mexico, and needed some services performed prior to picking up the boat over Memorial Day weekend. (Note) I am an extremely particular and anal individual. I had extremely great customer service and awesome end product from the following businesses. I would highly recommend these businesses to anyone needing these types of service in the Havasu area.


Absolute Speed & Marine (Aaron @ 928-855-2252)

Aaron provided me with all the previous service records on the boat and replaced the impeller for me which was due for replacement. They picked up and returned the boat to the storage unit where the boat was stored. Great customer service….Thanks Aaron



Custom Boat Covers etc (Michelle @ 928-505-1001)

The boat did not have a bow and cockpit cover which I wanted. Michelle did an awesome job making and installing these Sunbrella covers a very reasonable price. She met me at the storage unit when I first purchased the boat a few weeks before Easter to discuss the work to be done (on a Saturday afternoon). She picked up the boat from the storage unit and took it to her shop. She sent me pictures of the snap placement prior to installing the snaps for my approval. She also sent pictures of the covers installed prior to me leaving to for Havasu. When I got to her shop to pick up the boat the covers had came out awesome and totally met my expectations. Saleen Fiberfglass Restoration (Pedro @ 928-486-4529 / 928-855-0877)

(My F##k Up!!!)While loading the boat the first afternoon I managed to gouge the front of the boat on the trailer bow stop ¼ steel plates that the carpeted bow stop boards were mounted to. This resulted in a 4” long by ¼” wide 1/8” deep gouge in the gel-coat as well as a few additional minor but needed repairable scratches. I made some calls for gel-coat recommendations and found Pedro @ Saleens (very reasonable price). The intention was to leave the boat in Havasu on Monday 5/30 and return the following weekend (16hrs round trip) to pick up the boat. Pedro was able to work on the boat on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and have it ready for me to bring home on my original return date to New Mexico of Monday 5/30 (at 8:00 am). The gel-coat repair was amazing, cannot even tell that it was ever damaged. If anyone needs gel-coat work done definitely contact Pedro as a viable option. Thanks Pedro
